The Living Labs group is developing The University of Manchester Campus as a site for applied research and teaching around the topic of environmental sustainability. The project is a collaboration between researchers, students, external stakeholders and the Directorate of Estates and Facilities to deploy and monitor new technologies and services in a real world setting.
The living labs project is open to academics whose research ideas could be applied to the University campus. Or academics who would like to get their students involved with an environmental sustainability project on campus.
Living Labs is set out around specific research areas of environmental sustainability that staff may be interested in, visit the living lab website to find those people, courses and projects relating to these topics.
