University College for Interdisciplinary Learning

The University College for Interdisciplinary Learning (UCIL) allows you to study units from across the University that count towards your degree.

UCIL offers several environmental sustainability units including their flagship online unit 'Creating a Sustainable World: 21st Century Challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals' (SDGs). This unit brings together more than 80 contributors from policy, practice, academia, and the public, giving you the opportunity to explore the UN's SDGs in depth.

Like many of UCIL's units, it is delivered entirely online via Blackboard through interactive activities, videos and discussion boards. Online units ensure that it fits your timetable and you can complete it at your own pace.

UCIL units are also designed to be accessible to all undergraduate students, no matter what degree you are studying. These units will equip you with valuable knowledge and skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking to enhance your employability.
