On 21st July the Sustainability Enthusiasts from the Manchester Museum, Whitworth Art Gallery and library were rewarded with UN certificates to thank them for their hard work over the past year.
The University has a network of Sustainability Enthusiasts, the aim is to have one in every School/Directorate. The Enthusiast acts as a figurehead for sustainability in their area.

One of our Enthusiasts, Michael Bane, was recently named the UK National Environmental Hero as part of the Green Impact scheme. More details can be read here. Well done Michael!
